Event Details:

- 1st Place: Dinner for Two at Le Garden Bistro.
- 2nd Place: Fine Bottle of Wine from the Wine Library.
- 3rd Place: Dessert for Two at Le Garden Bistro and Dessert Drinks for Two at the Wine Library
- People's Choice: $100 Gift Card at Publix

How to Participate:
- Register now to secure your spot in the contest. Hurry, as we have limited space available!
- Complete the entry form and pay the $25 donation entry fee online to confirm your participation. ALL funds benefit the DCCA (a non-profit organization)
- Bring your prepared charcuterie board to Le Garden Bistro by 12:15 pm on the contest day.

Additional Information:
- Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
- There will be a brunch offered at Le Garden Bistro, please make arrangements with them to coordinate (352-437-3721). The charcuterie boards are not for consumption, but could be purchased from the creator, near the end of the event.
- Dade City Center for the Arts, Le Garden Bistro, and the Wine Library are not responsible for any food allergies or sickness.
- Bring your boards between 12:15pm and be ready for judging by 12:45pm.
- People's choice will be voted on from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
- Contest judging will begin shortly after the last entry is received, and boards must be picked up (or sold) by 3:00 pm.
- There's not a specific theme, per se, but special consideration will be given by the judges, the more 'artistic' the display is.
- The MAX SIZE for the board needs to be 18"x18"
Judging Criteria
- Presentation: overall visual appeal of the charcuterie board, including color balance, composition, and arrangement.
- Ingredient Quality: The quality and freshness of the ingredients used will be a key consideration, with extra points given to high-quality, locally sourced, and artisanal ingredients.
- Attention to Artistry: Precision and care in arranging the components, including intricate patterns, garnishes, and decorative elements to produce the most artistic board possible
- Originality: Unique combinations of ingredients, unexpected pairings, or innovative serving methods
- Use of Space: Efficient use of space on the board without overcrowding or leaving too much empty space
- Technique: Skill and craftsmanship demonstrated in preparing and presenting the charcuterie board, including knife work and artistic flourishes
- Overall Impression: how well the charcuterie board captures their attention and leaves a memorable impression, considering both visual appeal and culinary creativity.
